Celebration of 2022 Leadership Award recipients Royal Ramey & Brandon Smith
Royal Ramey & Brandon Smith of The Forestry and Fire Recruitment Program (FFRP) were recently named as 2022 James Irvine Foundation Leadership Award recipients. The Award comes with a $250,000 grant and other resources – including a mural commemorating FFRP’s work created by artist Enkone.
FFRP’s mural was unveiled during a brief program on April 22, where the Leadership Award was also presented to Royal Ramey & Brandon Smith.

Artist Statement
I have great respect and admiration for the work that FFRP does. For this mural I wanted to combine a historic photo with current images of the good people from FFRP.
