I’m writing to encourage you to nominate a leader for a 2025 Leadership Award. The deadline is Friday, April 26.
As a member of the Selection Committee for The James Irvine Foundation Leadership Awards, I greatly appreciate the opportunity to learn about the remarkable work being done in California. I am always amazed and inspired by the tenancy of people building new and innovative ways to resolve the most pressing of issues in our communities. The Leadership Awards honors them for their work, and for showing us the way forward.
I encourage you to take this opportunity to nominate an individual or pair of leaders who have demonstrated innovation and a commitment to the betterment of our state. The Leadership Awards seek nominations for under-recognized leaders and organizations from all corners of our state, including those working in arts and culture, climate change, health and healthcare, infrastructure, youth development, or any other area.
As a Leadership Award recipient myself, I can attest to the fact that the recognition from the Award accelerated the growth of my organization. Since receiving the Award, my organization significantly expanded our capacity, allowing us to provide even more opportunities to improve people’s lives. I can not imagine being where we are today without the support of the Leadership Awards.
